Combats are dynamic and multifaceted, and every soldier is supposed to have the skills to approach the wounded in battle, provide them with first aid, carry them out of the battlefield, and be able to remove the wounded from armored vehicles. The review examines laws and regulations of the Russian Federation on first aid; Medical Support, Fundamentals of Medical Support for Troops (Forces), and Military Medical Training discipline (module) course outlines; tactical medicine guidelines developed by the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation; open source articles analyzing and summarizing the experience in providing first aid and medical care during the special military operation. The paper identifies special aspects of teaching and studying the Medical Support academic discipline in military educational institutions where it is not a core subject. In addition, the knowledge and reasonable decisions of graduates of such universities will save the lives of many wounded and sick people during current and future military conflicts. The paper focuses on the experience gained by the medical service during the special military operation.</p>
Особый акцент в статье сделан на опыт, приобретенный медицинской службой в ходе специальной военной операции.</p></trans-abstract><kwd-group xml:lang="en"><kwd>medical support</kwd><kwd>medical losses</kwd><kwd>special military operation</kwd><kwd>teaching</kwd><kwd>professional education</kwd><kwd>professional military activities</kwd><kwd>tactical medicine</kwd></kwd-group><kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>медицинское обеспечение</kwd><kwd>санитарные потери</kwd><kwd>специальная военная операция</kwd><kwd>преподавание</kwd><kwd>профессиональное образование</kwd><kwd>военно-профессиональная деятельность</kwd><kwd>тактическая медицина</kwd></kwd-group><funding-group/></article-meta></front><body></body><back><ref-list><ref id="B1"><label>1.</label><mixed-citation>Tolstosheev VN, et al.
