Exercise improves functional status and psychoemotional well-being. However, in the military environment, approaches to developing health and fitness competencies and readiness for self-rehabilitation are poorly systematized. This review summarizes and critically interprets the current body of national and international publications, proposing a competency-based model of adaptive training for military personnel with disabilities. It updates the list of key components (motivational, value, cognitive, practical activity, and personal reflection) and their criteria and substantiates the staged training (recovery, special training, and applied stages) with personalized activities. There is evidence that adaptive fitness programs incorporating resources available for various medical conditions (including swimming, coordination exercises, and training using exercise machines) promote the development of endurance, strength, and coordination, reduce anxiety, strengthen intrinsic motivation, and develop self-control skills. This review outlines the conditions for the success of such programs, including interdisciplinary support (fitness professional, general practitioner, and psychologist), functional status monitoring, inclusion of training sessions in the service routine, and methodological support for units. The review integrates a competency-based model with the applied military implementation algorithm and a set of real-life indicators used to assess the development of competencies and readiness for self-rehabilitation.</p>
Новизна обзора состоит в интеграции компетентностной модели с алгоритмом внедрения в войсковую практику и набором прикладных индикаторов оценки сформированности компетенций и готовности к самореабилитации.</p></trans-abstract><kwd-group xml:lang="en"><kwd>health and fitness competencies</kwd><kwd>self-rehabilitation</kwd><kwd>adaptive training</kwd><kwd>military personnel with disabilities</kwd></kwd-group><kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>физкультурно-оздоровительные компетенции</kwd><kwd>самореабилитация</kwd><kwd>адаптивная физическая культура</kwd><kwd>военнослужащие с ограниченными возможностями здоровья</kwd></kwd-group><funding-group/></article-meta></front><body></body><back><ref-list><ref id="B1"><label>1.</label><mixed-citation>Islamov VA, Obraztsov MS, Savchenko OA.
