Based on an analysis of current Russian and international publications, this work aimed to substantiate the applicability of the International Classification of Functioning, Disability and Health (ICF) to assessing the rehabilitation effect of adapted physical activity, and to develop a practice-oriented assessment algorithm. The study used theoretical analysis, comparative review of published studies, modeling, and content analysis of official World Health Organization documents. Methodological papers, systematic reviews, and empirical studies published from 2001 to 2025 were analyzed. The review showed that the ICF provides a universal biopsychosocial language for describing functioning, links adapted physical activity outcomes to body functions and structures , activity and participation , and environmental factors, and makes the assessment of rehabilitation effects clinically and socially meaningful. At the same time, studies of physical exercise and adapted motor activity still tend to overemphasize impairments, whereas participation and environmental factors remain underrepresented. The paper proposes an original algorithm based on a brief target ICF profile, baseline and follow-up qualifiers, a combination of objective tests and patient-reported measures, and a two-component rule for interpreting results. The ICF is methodologically productive for evaluating the rehabilitation effect of adapted physical activity provided that it is used not as a standalone scale but as a framework integrating rehabilitation diagnosis, goal setting, measurement tools, and final judgment.</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="ru"><p>В практике адаптивной физической культуры оценка результатов занятий нередко ограничивается показателями силы, выносливости, амплитуды движений и отдельными тестами моторики, что не позволяет полноценно отразить изменения активности, участия и средовых условий. Целью обзора было по данным современной отечественной и зарубежной литературы обосновать применимость Международной классификации функционирования, ограничений жизнедеятельности и здоровья к оценке реабилитационного эффекта занятий адаптивной физической культурой и разработать практико-ориентированный алгоритм такой оценки. Использованы методы теоретического анализа, сравнительного обзора литературы, моделирования и контент-анализа официальных материалов Всемирной организации здравоохранения. Проанализированы методологические публикации, систематические обзоры и эмпирические исследования 2001–2025 гг. Установлено, что Международная классификация функционирования обеспечивает универсальный биопсихосоциальный язык для описания функционирования, позволяет соотносить результаты адаптивной физической культуры с компонентами «функции и структуры организма», «активность и участие», «факторы окружающей среды» и делает оценку реабилитационного эффекта клинически и социально значимой. Вместе с тем показано, что в исследованиях физических упражнений и адаптивной двигательной активности до сих пор доминируют показатели нарушений функций, тогда как участие и средовые факторы учитываются недостаточно. Разработан авторский алгоритм оценки, основанный на кратком целевом профиле Международной классификации функционирования, стартовой и итоговой оценке квалификаторов, сочетании объективных тестов с пациент-ориентированными показателями и правиле двух контуров интерпретации результата.
